Curious Paradox

Mmmmm… atmospheric Scuba for your listening pleasure. This is from his new EP coming out, PNX001 with tracks dating back from 2012. Enjoy the more moody and dark Scuba. I’m loving it.

Scuba Remix

Scuba has a new remix of Paul Woolford’s untitled track and it’s a scorcher. The original was released on Scuba’s record label Hotflush. Scuba’s attempt is just pure unadulterated madness. Check it

Too Strong

Scuba – Too Strong

Scuba just released his track ‘Too Strong’ which was featured on one of his Fact mixes months ago and what a track! If this doesn’t get your feet moving I don’t know what will.

“Beam Me Up” (featuring Charlene Soraia & Scuba) is the first official single from the debut album Getting Closer by Close, a new production alias from producer, DJ and label owner Will Saul.

The “Beam Me Up” single (which also includes remixes from George FitzGerald and Hercules And Love Affair) will be out April 23rd. Pre-orders available here.

The Getting Closer album comes out June 11th on !K7 Records.

After traveling for over two months I’m officially back which means I’ll be consistently posting tracks again. It’s a new year, but I’m gonna reach back in the past for my first post of 2013.

Scuba always seems to stylistically change what he’s doing. By that I mean he’s not predictable in his productions. This has a bit of trancey techno feel which I dig. It just happens to be one of the tracks I’ve revisited today so check it out if you’re not familiar.

Talk Torque

“Having released his critically acclaimed third album ‘Personality’ earlier this year, Scuba has announced news of a brand new single ‘Talk Torque’.

The one-sider ‘Talk Torque’ will be released through Hotflush digitally on October 29th, with a limited edition marbled vinyl to follow on November 12th, and will coincide with the world premiere of Scuba’s live show on November 3rd in London.

Not one to rest on his laurels, Scuba has been busy this summer DJing at countless European festivals including Off-Sonar, SW4, Hideout, Primavera, closing Bestival on the Saturday and making his debut at Ibiza.

Hotflush Recordings has blossomed into a veritable juggernaut in underground electronic music, releasing everything from techno (Sigha, George FitzGerald) to some of the most experimental and important music of the past few years by artists like Joy Orbison, Untold, Mount Kimbie and Sepalcure.

Having cemented his place at the cutting edge of electronic music with ‘Personality’, Scuba now turns his attention to the live scene. Scuba’s debut live show promises to be nothing short of spectacular and is not to be missed.”
