Do What You Want

I can’t recall what artist I saw post this track, but I’m loving it. It’s a nice breaks remix that also has elements of progressive house. As I write this I’m cursing myself because I hate speaking in “genres.”

The textured rolling bass lines alongside some awesome drums are a great accompaniment to the vocals from Claire Sky. Check er out.

New deadmau5 track

Yea it’s Friday and a new deadmau5 tune was just put up on his youtube. “Veldt” is reminiscent of his past and somewhat progressive sound. A happy, peaceful, and easy to listen to song. Enjoy and have a great weekend.

deadmau5 – Veldt

New Moose

A new Deadmau5 track for you on the start of the week. I’m definitely diggin the progressive style of this track which is more akin to his older produced tracks. It’s not entirely finished, but without a doubt worth a listen if you’re into his older stuff. I especially enjoy the long build so give it some time. Cheers.

Deadmau5 – Get in the October Cart, Pig

A fabulous remix by Oxford & Martin Sayker. I follow Oxford on facebook after discovering him on some international blogs I frequent. You should definitely go check out his soundcloud page.

I’d give a little rundown on him if I could except everything he posts is in French. So while I dust up on my french, I’d suggest diving deep into the music. He’s a extremely talented young producer and I’m looking forward to this young man’s bright future.

This song is just a preview which is such a tease. This sound is right up my alley (I can’t help I was born into the electronic world with 90’s house and progressive house). I suggest you do what I’m gonna do and immediately purchase this tune.

The Discotexas label has been around for some time now. This ain’t no Texas slangin disco rodeo. This Portugal based label puts out quality artists on a constant basis. Today is no excuse. This next duo is just another example of them finding amazing new talent. “Jay Lamar & Jesse Oliver are a production / Dj duo hailing from Helsinki, Finland.

After meeting at a music production school, they found out sharing a similar taste in music. Both guys have a history in playing and producing Pop and Rock music as well as DJing so when they first hit studio together they started crafting their own blend of all things House, Disco & Electro. Fans of Kris Menace, Lifelike or Pryda will love this release!

“Diamonda”and “Opal”, the first original tracks made by the duo, along remixes by Xinobi, Justin Faust and Bright Shades became Discotexas’ first release of 2012!” Go checkout their soundcloud page to buy their tunes. They also gave away a free one!
