“Once upon a time, deep in The Cosmic Forest, was a fabled hideaway. It whispered of masked dreams, ushered in hidden truths. Fantasy and adventure were the alchemy that fueled the fire. With moods so vivid you could almost taste them, imagination flew into the night with wild abandon and Spirits soared.

Eventually, as is its’ nature, modernity found its’ own course and wove a path into the world as we know it.

Living and breathing the air that time forgot are two creatures of ageless beauty. Tucked away in their remote Cosmic Forest studio, Psychemagik embody the lust of wonderment and the endless bliss that is musical treasure. Together, they encapsulate what always was and is always meant to be. Welding away by candle light, their passion for composition and seamless production is enabling a whole universe of lush, delirious, existential explosions of sound to proliferate. Come closer…. Take a peek… Be seduced by twilight… Join them in their cosmos and see the world through their eyes.
Let Psychemagik take you by each hand and lead you, blindfolded, into their fantasy world. Open your eyes… Move slowly…. Breathe deeply… What’s before you is a mystical wonderland, sprinkled with magic dust and misted by the tears of the heavens. They will free your mind as the scarf of the everyday falls. Welcome to the place where everything is possible, the place where dreams spring to life. “

To celebrate Tensnake’s long overdue return to Defected In The House at Pacha Ibiza this Saturday, here we’re giving you the shortest of tastes of the brand new Tensnake single forthcoming on Defected.

Released in the very near future on Beatport, Traxsource, What People Play and Itunes, ‘Mainline’ is a true return to form for Tensnake and features the vocals talents of a certain Syron – the fantastic guest vocalist behind Rudimental’s recent hit ‘Spoons’.

Syron will be exclusively performing the song live for the very first time this Saturday at Pacha alongside Tensnake. Saturday also sees the last of the now legendary sets from Solomun at Defected In The House at Pacha. So with Solomun, Tensnake and this singles live debut, Saturday is most definitely one not to miss.

Tickets can be purchased from:

Baby I Got That

Some more summer time vibes this time from Justin Martin of San Francisco. I love the accompanying vocals, piano lines, rolling synths, and boombastic bass lines.

This is a perfectly timed release. Perhaps it’s entitled his ‘Endless Summer’ mix since here in SF we’re just around the corner from our “summer.”

This Time

I had heard of Jackin Rabbit about 6 months ago and didn’t realize until today that they are one of Hot Creations recent label additions. Danny kane aka Danny Canaan is a massive talent on stage and in the studio. Danny can play many instruments and has worked with an endless list of artists including All Saints,Bitty McLean, UB40 Shara Nelson (massive attack) Bobby Womack, Colonel Abrams, Ruby Turner, Robert Owens and Chaka khan has combined forces with long term friend Marc who has played alongside a host of stars including Funkagenda, Riva Starr, Kenny Dope, Jamie Jones and Lee Foss. Get with it.

I Miss You

HA! Blink 182 Haus exists! This is pretty interesting not just because it’s a blast from your emo past, but because the music accompanying it is pretty damn good.

I saw a friend post this. My first thoughts were this is gonna be horrible. Even going into it with those expectations I came out with a weird urge of wanting to share it. I don’t know if this will make it into my long term collection, but it’s worth a listen so check it out.

Lazer Eyes

My head is back to normal after a festival weekend so naturally I’m getting back into some harder stuff. I think I’ll let the picture and song do the talking for this one.
