Here’s another track off Disclosure’s album, The Face. It has a catchy vibe to it with elements of a SBTRKT sound. A little of the click clack of Mount Kimbie and some added UK bass for good measure. Dig it.

“We are proud to present you one of the biggest releases we have planned this year, by Juan Sanchez. Following up on his 100% Pure release, This World is a great melodic feelgood track, perfect for the early outdoor festivals. His brother Daniel Sanchez made sure that it is also suitable for the clubs. Watch out for the rolling bassline!”

Check it out on beatport on June 4th and get ready for an outdoor summer dance party.

Gossip Country

Justin Faust’s remix of a Final DJs track is most awesome. It’s also featured on the Magician’s most recent mix tape. It’s a great instrumental track that’s given the nu disco touch. The original is great but he makes this his own in all the ways we’ve come accustomed to.

A friend and I finally purchased our plane tickets to Rome where we will make our way to Pula, Croatia for Dimensions Festival this September. I’m currently in celebration mode as the plane tickets were the biggest obstacle. It’s officially all happening.

So with that in mind, I though I’d give you a taste of what I’ll be seeing namely Todd Terje who was a late addition. This track is a fluid, hypnotic groover. It’s different from Terje’s disco and Balearic roots. It starts out with some ambient, spacey synths. He slowly builds it up as he’s in no rush here. It’s 8 minutes of pure soulful grooves so be patient. It’s not all about the “drops” kids. Cheers.

Home Away From Home

Touch Tone is the newest addition the the Binary Record Label. I’ve been a big fan of them, the blog (Goldroom), and that dreamwave sound since I discovered the blog in 2009.

Touch Tone released an awesome track a week or so ago. Benedikt Hammer, featured here before, just completed an unofficial remix of it and it’s magical. Check er out.

Le Youth, aka Wes Anderson, is a LA based producer who has become part of this year’s influx of summer disco anthems. He’s remixed Moon Boots, The Hint, Russ Chimes, and Goldroom.

What I like about him is that when asked what music he plays he responded “Dance Music. All the genres confuse me.” There is something redeeming about that. He’s not someone consumed with pleasing the music elite and instead focused on just creating quality dance music.

Check out some of these tracks many of which are available on his facebook page.
