Ichisan recently released an older track that’s been recently tidied up. It is coming out on a CD compilation made for an Amsterdam based fashion label by Mark Buning, the co-owner of Dutch ‘Elevator People’ record label. Check er out.

Ichisan of Slovenia who’s been featured here before, has given us a two minute preview of a remix he’s releasing soon. It has a great spacey vibe to it and I’m looking forward to its full release. He’ll probably delete this in two days as he’s done before… I’m guessing the homie hasn’t paid for the full soundcloud subscription yet so check it out while you can.

“Ichisan is Igor Skafar, one of the most prominent Slovenian photographers, who started his relationship with music playing guitar in various bands. He has later developed preference for electronical sounds, which he blended with his organic feel and started producing his own projects.
In March 2008 he has awaited his first solo 12’’ international release on London’s Airthight Recordings. “Global Pillage and Tips & Tricks” were very positively accepted and got many favorable reviews, including a four star review from iDj magazine. With this release Ichisan received considerable recognition pinning him alongside greats such as Bjorn Torske, Pete Herbert, Prins Thomas, Aeroplane and many more that dabble in excellent soundscape epics.
