Madeon had a new single. His french house, electro, pop sound definitely has mass appeal as it still has me hooked. It’s definitely not underground nor does it have some super complex sound, but it doesn’t need that.
I hope he keeps making music like he has thus far and doesn’t go the route of cranking out cheese pop anthems. I’ve enjoyed most everything he’s put out and I’m excited to see where he takes his productions since he’s still so young… or maybe I’m old. Oh well enjoy.
So Madeo finally released his single, “Icarus.” I posted this teaser video back in October and just yesterday, finally released the tune. Madeon, like Lenno, is a young buck destined to dominate the scene. He started composing music at the age of 11, and adopted a nu-disco style under the name “Madeon” in 2010. In the fall of that year, he gained popularity for his award-winning remix of “The Island” by Pendulum.
He’s also playing Coachella this year. I’ll be certain to see his performance to finally experience what this young, and soon to be widley famous, producer’s all about.
Fred Falke is a falkeing genius… sorry had to. He takes Nero’s mashup up of an old Kano tune + a Hall & Oates tune and turns a dubstep song into a french house masterpiece. This is such an uplifting tune. Nero’s version isn’t bad, but I guarantee if you dropped both on the d floor, Fred Falke’s would send the crowd into a sweaty frenzy. Epic sunsets all around.
