A new Classixx remix right here and it’s accompanied by some more feel good summery vibes. I saw them a while back in DC and they killed it. It was a solid mix of well timed classics (no pun intended) and some new tracks (at the time).
Here’s to hoping I get to see them sometime near in the future.
Gossip – Move In The Right Direction (Classixx Remix)
Today’s track is stuck somewhere in between the world of Tron and the picture above. It’s made for the dancefloor. This isn’t the kind of track you want to throw on to early. Wait for it…. wait for it… Hit em with it.
Of course the Cosmonauts have been firmly making their mark on the intergalactic disco scene for quite some time. Their music flips the boundary between tripped out house, italo disco, balearica and electronic cosmic synth. It’s fairly obvious this tune fits the bill.
Auxiliary Tha Masterfader – Mirror Ball (Cosmonaut’s Ego Trippin Dub)
Jonas Rathsman who is part of the French Express label, has got a brand new track that’s perfect for the clubs. It’s due out soon, but here’s a cut from Radio 1.
He’s most recent EP, “Tobago,” received massive support both virally and traditionally and was played on BBC Radio 1 shortly after its release. As a result, the track appeared on numerous recognized dj’s mixtapes, including a Magician’s Magic Tape although this track here certainly has a much deeper sound.
He is currently scheduled to tour in Europe and visit some of club music´s most prestigious venues. His music is getting more recognizing by the day for its organic and playful flair, stimulating vocals and classic club flow.
Jonas Rathsman – Since I Don’t Have You
An old track from part of the Hot Natured crew, Waifs & Strays. It was recently in the background of this video above from some Miami boat parties. Man that looks fun.
Waifs & Strays – Body Shiver
New Essential “chuuuune” or tune depending on what accent you’re speaking in. I just heard this from Jaymo & Andy George’s Essential new tune on BBC 1 Radio. Danny Daze’s new track ‘Zone’ is a heater.
It will be available on vinyl 23 July as part of the Future Classic DJs Compilation. Holy evil bass lines. Check it.
